The saying goes, “There are old mushroom hunters, and there are Bold mushroom hunters, but there are no Old and Bold mushroom hunters.” Don’t be a bold mushroom hunter. Join us at the Rider Hollow Trailhead from 10 AM to noon to learn about mushroom identification, best practices, and where to look, what to look for, and especially what to look out for with Catskill Fungi’s John Michelotti.

Please dress for the weather. We will walk rain or shine, unless a severe storm is predicted. This means boots or sneakers. Optional items to bring include a water bottle, bug/tick repellent, raincoat, or snacks. You are welcome to bring pictures of mushrooms you would like identified.

There are 2 time slots for this walk - Both are sold out. Sign up for the waitlist or choose another Catskill Fungi mushroom walk.

Morning: 10:00 am-12:00pm

Afternoon: 1:30 pm-3:30 pm

Please choose one from the CFA website.
